The most options. For hair removal, your hair color matters more than your skin tone.
Recent sun is the main thing that changes the plan. A fresh tan can mean waiting.
A recent tan can change how your skin responds, so we check where you are on the day.
Where the plan changes most. IPL is considered only after a test spot, and hair removal may move to a laser suited to darker skin.
Our hair-removal laser was chosen with your skin in mind. IPL isn’t used.

Skin tone here means how your skin reacts to sun, not only its color. We confirm yours at your first visit.
How skin tone changes the plan
Tired of threading or waxing every few weeks? Laser targets the hair root to reduce regrowth over a series of sessions. Most people need six to eight.
Our hair-removal laser is labeled for hair removal on all skin types, including dark skin. That is why we chose it.
We try a small area and check how your skin responds before you start a series.
We start gently and adjust as your skin responds. Photos taken the same way at each visit let you see your progress.

More answersIt can. Our hair-removal laser is labeled for hair removal on all skin types, including dark skin. Hair color matters as much as skin tone: the laser looks for the color in the hair, so very light, gray, or red hair doesn’t respond well to any laser.
It can when the laser or its settings are wrong for your skin. That’s why we use a laser suited to darker skin, try a small test spot first, and start gently. If something else will serve your skin better, we’ll tell you.
It can. Most Indian and South Asian skin ranges from olive to deep brown, and that is the skin our hair-removal laser was chosen for. Dark, coarse hair gives the laser a clear target. We check both at your first visit.
Threading and waxing pull hair out, so it grows back on its usual cycle. Laser targets the hair root over a series of sessions to reduce how much grows back. Plenty of people keep threading their brows and use laser on other areas.
